Advanced Life Support (ALS) Level 3 (VTQ) Training Videos

Welcome to the Advanced Life Support (ALS) Level 3 course. We start this course by giving you an introduction to the modules covered in this course.

Within in this section we will discuss the Pre-shift checks and Privacy and Dignity, chain of infection, precautions and PPE. Along with Scene Safety the Primary Survey and then onto National Early Warning Score and escalation. Then finally on to Chain of survival, communication, Respiration & Breathing, Pulse and the recovery position including infants.

In the following training videos you will look at the Introduction to the ABCDE Approach and patient care. The method we use for assessing the level of a patient's disability or mental capacity is a system called AVPU or A-V-P-U.

This final section looks at how you take your test and get you completion certificate, evidenced-based learning statement and Certified CPD statement.
